I am first and foremost the father to two wonderful boys – Nicholas (8 years old) and Jacob (6 years old). I am constantly reminded how blessed I am to have them in my life. I try to teach them the right way to live life, but I find that they teach me even more. We love to camp, take our dogs for walks, ride bikes, play any number of sports, read together, bake and cook, play board games and a million other things. The main thing is that we love to spend time together.
I am also the owner of Amazing Athletes of Oklahoma. We coach sports-based fitness classes to preschool aged children 2 to 7 years old. Children in our classes learn the basic fundamentals of nine major ball sports, as well as hand/eye coordination, gross and fine motor skills, teamwork and other key developmental skills. With childhood obesity on the rise, it’s very important to educate both children and their parents on the importance of eating healthy and getting plenty of exercise. At Amazing Athletes, we’re doing our part to help children get the exercise they need and help encourage them to lead a healthy lifestyle.
I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Oklahoma, where I majored in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations, and I minored in history and political science. Both of my kids and I wholeheartedly love our Sooners and can usually be found in front of the TV or in Norman on Saturdays in the fall watching OU play football.
I was born in Santa Barbara, CA, lived in Sacramento for 11 years, moved to McKinney, TX when I was 11 and lived there until I went to OU for school. I’ve been in Oklahoma ever since and currently live in Owasso.
